Reputation is earned only when activity carries a quality signal. Posting more is not enough; helpfulness, acceptance and reviewed work matter.
Period boards highlight current forum problem-solving. Top Answerers prioritises accepted solutions, then helpful answer votes, then answers. Community leaders and Top Contributors use contribution points earned during the selected period; a reversal counts against the period of the award it cancels.
Fair scoring: self-votes and duplicate events earn nothing. Withdrawn votes, removed content and changed acceptances create auditable reversals. Sponsorship, partnership and credentials cannot buy points, reputation, ranks or leadership.
